Groups & Fees - Sarah Heinz House Aquatics

The current SARAH HEINZ HOUSE AQUATICS fees are:

~Swimmer registration for USA Swimming ($60.00) per year. Reduced registration is also available for $5.00 per year if your child qualifies for the free lunch program at his/her school. Please see Coach Peterson for more details.

SARAH HEINZ HOUSE AQUATICS participates in USA Swimming competitions all year round. Short Course season (25 yards) runs from September-April. Long Course season (50 meters) runs May-August.

Dues are payable in accordance with other Sarah Heinz House registrations and activity periods. A membership to Sarah Heinz House is required for all team members. The dues are based on twelve months of swimming. SHHA practice fees average about $0.95 a practice. The current national average for a typical USA Swimming team is about $3.00 a practice.

COMPETITIVE TEAM

GOLD GROUP: 5 payments of $145 per year (3 SC season / 2 LC season)

(6 days a week/ 2 hours per practice)

SILVER GROUP: 5 payments of $120 per year (3 SC season / 2 LC season)

(5 days a week/ 1.5 hours per practice)

BRONZE GROUP: 5 payments of $75 per year (3 SC season / 2 LC season)

(3 days a week/ 1 hour per practice)

COMPETITION ENTRY FEES:

At the beginning of each season, junior and competitive team members will receive a meet calendar for the upcoming season. On this calendar swimmers and parents will see which competitions your child will be eligible to participate in. About a month to month and a half before each competition the coaching staff will enter the events your swimmer will be swimming. The entries will usually be due about 2-3 weeks before the actual meet occurs. Typically, you can expect to be charged $3.25-$7.25 per swim depending on the meet entered. SARAH HEINZ HOUSE AQUATICS will then write the host club a check for all the entry fees collected for the swimmers on our team. In most meets, swimmers can swim three to four events per day.

IMPORTANT:
It is the responsibility of the SHHA members to notify the coach and Sarah Heinz House of intentions to terminate, or cancel a team membership. Failure to notify the coach may cause a member to be unnecessarily billed for swim team dues. If a member quits the program or is dropped from the program because of overdue bills, overdue and current account balances are immediately payable in full.
